#1 Hispanic Marriage Day Committee Member
Help with all aspects of Hispanic Marriage Day celebration, including planning, set up, greeting and registration, activity assistance, clean up, etc. This year's event is on October 9th, 2010, and planning meetings are ongoing.

#2 Relationship Skills Coach
Help couples practice new communication skills as part of relationship education classes. Required training provided.

#3 Workshop Leader

#4 Student Intern
Activities vary greatly depending on student's interests, and are generally persued in conjunction with a university program. Contact us for more information.
#5 Office Help
Assist with office operations at HMP in whatever capacity best fits your skills, including assembling class and outreach materials, making phone calls, class setup, etc. Prior experience in an office setting and computer skills are helpful, but not necessary. No minimum commitment is need for this activity. We have very flexible scheduling. Office hours are 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday.
#6 Flourishing Families Class Assistant
Help low income new parents to create a healthy, stable family for their new baby. Assist instructor with classes. FFP teaches relationship skills for couples including money management, goal setting, communication, and conflict resolution, and the importance of father involvement. See full description...
#7 Smart Steps Co-Leader, Adult Group
Co-lead workshops that help adults and children forming stepfamilies become more educated about relationships in stepfamilies and to learn skills to strengthen their family. Assist leader in presenting materials and facilitating activities and discussion for a group of 8 to 16 adults. See full description...

Care for young children while older siblings and parents attend workshops. The workshops help adults and children forming stepfamilies become more educated about relationships in stepfamilies and to learn skills to strengthen their family.
